![]() ![]() That last one would be really great for endurance and range IF YOU TAKE YOUR TIME and make sure you're using A+ embouchure the whole time. I've got a compilation warmup thing that I'll see if I can find tomorrow, but a couple not in there that I really like are The Buzzing Book and Bai Lin's Lip Flexibilities. Which is to say that you should have a really thorough warmup routine. I second the long tone advice, but really that should only be the first step in a thorough warmup routine. So what are some exercises I can do to better my range and endurance? Some of the books I have are: the arban, H. Also, it's hard to practice for long periods because of my endurance. I'm trying to actually do well in district/state band audition, and I need to easily hit a c at least. I've had braces since freshman year, and won't get them off until the end of senior year:/ The highest note I can hit consistently is the first b above the staff. My range has barely increased since 8th grade. I've always had massive problems with range and endurance. I'm going into my senior year of high school, and I've been trying to actually improve this summer instead of wasting away my progress. ![]()
